Santa’s Grotto
Opens 10th December 2005

Santa’s Grotto opens on Saturday, 10th December between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. and on Sunday, 11th December between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.   Then daily from Saturday, 17th December, right through to early afternoon on Christmas Eve.   Run by Witham and District Lions, for children up to nine years old.  Entry Fee: £3.50. All proceeds go to local charities.

 

 

Cairngorm Reindeer - Saturday, 10th December 2005
11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m

The Cairngorm Reindeer promotion takes place on with Father Christmasin his sleigh pulled by real reindeer, first parade throughout the Centre and into Newland Street. The reindeer will be in their stable outside Select until their second parade at 1.55 p.m.

The Mayor of Witham’ Dickensian Market Sunday, 11th December 2005

A new event to Witham this year in aid of Farleigh Hospice.  Sunday, 11th December 2005 between 10.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m. The Mayor of Witham’s Dickensian Market in aid of Farleigh Hospice supported by Witham in Bloom.  Festive stalls of craft, collectables and gifts from Farleigh and Witham in Bloom stalls of holly, mistletoe, wreaths, Christmas plants etc.   Plus stalls of quality craft and Christmas gifts from other local groups and businesses. Stall-holders dressed in traditional Dickensian costume.  Refreshments, hot chestnuts and mulled wine, carol singing and music, magic and entertainment, children’s rides and attractions.

Markets will be held on Tuesday 13th and 20th December 2005.
