BAA Stansted Public Consultation.  July - October 2005

 As everyone probably knows, BAA Stansted recently launched a public consultation document, Growing Stansted Airport On The Existing Runway, and are seeking views and comments from as many individuals, stakeholders, businesses and business groups as possible.  Just in case you have not received a printed copy of the document, it can be found at www.stanstedairport.com/future.  Alternately you can contact 0800 7314247 and a printed version will be posted to you. The document was discussed at some length by the Braintree Business Council on Monday 5^th September 2005, and it was agreed to set up a small working group to prepare a response on behalf of local businesses and business groups through the Business Council.  The group will meet in late September and would welcome views from local businesses which could be included in the formal response. Membership of the working group will be Richard Cook representing Business Link, John O'Shea from Braintree Freeport, Brian day formerly of Halstead Boilers, and Brian Cutmore from Crossman Investments who is also Chairman of the Braintree Business Council, and myself as coordinator. 

We are aiming to finalise the response by the 14th October 2005 and would ask that any comments for inclusion in the response be sent to russell.everard@braintree.gov.uk or in hard copy to the address shown below by Monday 26th September at the very latest.
