Detail This year the International Puppet Festival will be held on Saturday, 18th September 2010. Beginning at 10.30am and finishing at 4.00pm. Acts booked are the Pompous Maximus and Servillius Wretch, Jack Frost, Buzy Lizzie, Pink Witches, No Flies on UZZ, Hippochondria, White Wings, the Gorillas, Squash Box Theatre, and Bruce Airhead. There will be face painting/Body Art/Temporary Tattoos by Frantastic. Rusty the Horse, the Bugs, The Seal, Rood, Arthur and Bopggart and Sparky. The Chamber of Commerce tonight approved a grant of £200 in support of this event which brings so many people into town.
