Detail Braintree DC is also not contacting businesses and asking them for a fee to register their business in a directory. We have had a number of reports today from business users of a “council” employee calling them and asking them to register for a business directory for a fee. This seems to be a fraud as we are not undergoing such a exercise and our business directory is free. The person has left a number of alias names and has instructed the business users to call the council offices if they want to find out more. He will not leave any contact details.
