Witham and District Chamber of Commerce
Open Evening Safety & Security Advice - 10/10/2007.

Come along and get some advice for your company and staff.  The evening includes an update on Witham’s CCTV by Cllr Steve Hicks of Witham Town Council and a representative from Witham Police.

When:  Wednesday 17th October at 6pm

Where:  In the Function room of the White Hart Hotel, Newland Street, Witham.

Refreshments and a bar will be available.

Witham Chamber requires a Secretary - 8/10/2007

Witham and District Chamber of Commerce require a new part time secretary to take minutes at their committee meetings and to arrange the lunches and meet and greet people as they arrive.  There is one committee meeting and one lunch meeting per month.  You would need to be available to start in November.

Computer literacy is essential, you will need Word for the Agendas and minutes and Excel for the membership list.  Experience of minute taking is desirable although not essential.  Approx 6 -10 hours a month.

Speaking Opportunity – for Free

A chance to speak to people of influence in Witham.

Witham Chamber of Commerce is selecting speakers to make a short presentation (10 or 20 minutes, depending on the topic) to Chamber members at their monthly lunch that takes place on a Wednesday each month between 12.55 p.m. and 2.15 p.m.

Representatives from retail, commerce and industry plus local government and the press usually attend the small lunchtime meetings.
